I have a job! Yay

I just got offered a job, no, not as the new Governor of Illinois, but with a River Cruise Company. I start Monday. My mortgage is all screwed up, but with a real income stream I think it will all work out in the long run.

As for Blago, I am delighted to learn he can never, ever, ever hold public office in Illinois ever again. See what really bad hair can do for ya, Rod?

I'm glad you turned down that governor spot in favor of the river cruise job. Stay away from those Illinois political appointments.

Congratulations!

Hey! That is wonderful! Although the state of Illinois loss is huge now that YOU won't take the job.

Yippee!

One of my sister's best friends was a cruise director, and she always had the best stories to tell - and sometimes they were juicy.

You've got a lot of great material coming your way to blog about.

Regards,

Tengrain

Excellent Good News! Congrats!

As for Gov, I think Illinois needed a blonde tornedo, so your passing on it is their loss, for sure, la la ladeedah.

Congratulations on the job!

As for the Former Governor with the Barney Rubble Hair - meh. You're not corrupt and evil enough to be an Illinois politician.

Brava, Diva. I've always wanted to follow in the footsteps of Mark Twain. If I can, you'll be the first person I call.

Congratulations: they're lucky to have you!

Man that Blago looked like an Al Capone antiquity!

did anyone get a glimps at what kind of shoes he wore?

WeezieLou said...

congrats!!

i doubt you'd want illinois right now - can you imagine the mess he's left? i mean, at the very least, all the drains in the mansion will be stopped up from wherever he washed his hair (unless he's actually bald, and it WAS a helmet!!).

Wow that is great news. I mean, cruise ship jobs are awesome and they pay well. Aside from having the chance to travel the world for free while earning, it is also a nice chance to meet new people and learn about their culture at the same time.
