Journeys: of the mind, heart, soul. Also, pack your bags, grab your passport, and hit the road. Politics, art, travel, humor, meanderings, whatever comes to mind.
Love what you did with Bhutan, turning each shot into a painterly masterpiece! It's so picture perfect, bet it was hard to decide what to include. Do you have to speak their language to travel there, or is it an english-friendly place?
DK, Thanks! It is the first time I have tried anything like this, and intend to start making some promotional animations to show to clients. And yes, Bhutan is quite english-friendly. To go there, however, you must have a guide - either a private guide, or be part of a group. You cannot just pop in. Unless you are part of a registered trip, you can't get a visa. I have a great guide there.
Pedestrian, yes, those are my photos from a trip I took to Bhutan about 2 years ago. It was an amazing experience. Actually, to travel with my guide, the cost (including accommodations, guiding, meals) is about $200 per person per day. Not bad. It's a bird-watcher's paradise, too.
What a beautiful slideshow, divajood. You really captured some stunning shots of both the natural environment and the lives in town. You did a great job using photo-enhancing tools. Really lovely stuff.
I'm going nowhere, so I only stopped by to say hi! Gave up traveling when the only two people shot by air marshals and killed where both bipolar. That was a few years ago. Besides, I hate the tin can sardine feeling I get on long flights. And I live on about $10. a day after meds and utilities. But I do miss you.
There is nothing wrong with a little shameless self promotion. I make my own videos all the time and promote the hell out of 'em. We all have something to say and we should never be ashamed of trying to spread the word.

Oooh beautiful place. Just dropped by to say hi.
Nice job and I know it's a useful tool to bring people closer and can entice people easily.

I really like the slideshow. I respect your computer and photography skills. This is a great blog.
HI Fran. I went to Bhutan a couple of years ago, it's amazing. And their restrictions keep it from becoming the pit that Nepal has become.
Coffee, thanks. It was a first attempt.
Robin, thanks - I think, when I figure all of it out, I can do some voice-over narration specific to clients, and make presentations.
Border, welcome. I appreciate it.

Utah, I have been having internet woes. Up/down/up/down - so that's why I've been scarce.
Robert, I have to get a lot better at them before I can do client presentations. This was from an old trip.
I don't know how you do it but That is great Diva. That isn't self promotion. It is appreciated. Give us more!
Definitely groovy stuff!
Hi Jim, thanks - my next one is all about Beanie.
Thanks, RG.
I am simply astounded at the great beauty in this... Thank you. I feel like I have received a most precious gift today.
Thank you, Fran!
