Why is it everyone loves football except me? Why do the refs have a banana in their belt loop? Okay, for you I will shout, "Bear down bears!!!"

I don't watch football, but I do have something to say this time.

Who Dat...Who Dat?

Yeah, da Bears won!!!! I am so happy for you. Now they will play the Saints, and I must say that while I am no big football fan, Drew Brees is from my neighborhood and I must support The Saints when they play The Bears, but all in good fun. I know that one of those two teams will win that game, I just have a feeling in my bones that at least one of them will win.

Ah, Pursey, football. I am from Chicago, where being a sports fan is a necessity. Half the year it is too cold to do anything EXCEPT watch sports. And when a Chicagoan is transplanted to another city, like my own self, you maintain your loyalties. I'm just saying. And Robbie Gould is so good, I want to bear all his children.

Donnie McDaniel, oh, we'll show you "who dat" next Sunday when the Saints come to Soldier Field.

Pursey, again, I say, Da Bears.

He said she said: Thanks for visiting - it was a complete nail-biter for me. I called my daughter after Berriman missed one of Grossman's passes (and I think they both blew it) - I said "WTF is WRONG with these people?" And she said "DO NOT DOUBT EVER." And it went into overtime, and I was having heart failure. My friend Kirk, who was one of the Seattle fans, was dancing around at me. Classic, classic, very exciting OT. And when it was over, my cell rang, and my daughter said "SEE?"

Nail-biter? I think I got all the way down to cuticle... However!

We're in the grip of Bears Weather here, Diva! Hopefully it lasts until the Thin-Blood Saints come marching up to the slaughter.

Nothing like Bears Football in Bears' Weather in Soldier Field!

YOU'RE THE PRIDE AND JOY OF ILLINOIS, CHICAGO BEARS, BEAR DOWN!!!!!
