Alaska images

Flying into Dog Camp:

Sled dogs are ready, and they LOVE to run. They get quite excited when they hear the helicopters.

My daughter and I had so much fun - this is after we went sledding, thanking two of our team of dogs. The one I'm with gave me a big sloppy dog kiss.

What a refreshing scene to look at while I'm sitting in the hot, simmering heat of a Florida summer. Thanks. That felt good.

When you said pics of Alaska, I did not expect photos of you and your daughter with sleds and dogs. That is the coolest thing. What a great adventure to share. Fantastic.

Nice photos, it has been a while since I was in Alaska... all I can think of is the cold, wish I was there now.

Peacechick, Alaska was quite cool - glad to give you a heat-break.

Suzie-q, two years ago, several of us from our company attended a weekend seminar in Scottsdale in JULY. Oh, my, god. OMYGOD. Never again, is all I'm saying.

Mariamaria, it was gorgeous, and so quiet. But the locals say that Bald Eagles are their version of pigeons.

Holly, that's cool! Where did you live in Alaska?

Mirth, it's my second trip to Alaska. The first one was a 500 mile bicycle ride, and we slept in tents. This was more comfy.

Larry, there was a lot of ice in the water. We were supposed to go kayaking one day (in Skagway) but the trip was cancelled because there was too much ice - and a kayak vs. an iceberg is not going to win.

Lulu Maude, it is a lot of fun at times. This was a working vacation, I hosted a small group. That was lovely, as they were such nice people.

Robin, the dogs were just the best. I loved them. My daughter said it was one of her favorite parts of the trip.

Coffee, it was great. I love Alaska - it is so silent, and beautiful.

Let's talk, I wish I was still there. So much to see, and it's so quiet!
