Last night, I went to see Tina Turner perform at The Staples Center. She's amazing - really connected with the crowd, despite the size of the venue. And, at 69 years of age, she clearly loves what she does. Her version of the Beatles Song "Help" was amazing - completely re-invented the song.
So that made the following message from Ringo Starr REALLY special. Pay attention, he says it's really important.
Well. Isn't that just so perky? Asshole.

Hahahahaha!
"Peace and love, go f*ck yourself..."
Thanks for posting this--I've been listening to audio clips all day on the radio, but it's really special to see it. Evidently that bit on the Simpsons about him reading and signing everything 20 years later was pretty accurate.
One of the best concerts I ever saw was Tina Turner back in 1987. She puts on a hell of a show.
Total cockroach he is, huh? Unbelievable...actually it isn't, he's historically been prone to bouts of assholiness, this is just a new low.
What a dick.
I have no sound. He's not saying "vote McCain" is he?
Now if only he'd announce that he's no longer touring with his band that no one goes to see anyway, we'd be even.
He always was a dick.
and a jerk too.. peace and love, my ass!
hence I always loved John and George..
jerk..
anyways...Tina is amazing..I saw her many years ago...
and she was amazing then....and the men there were in heaven...we were up high..not great seats...and MrEnigma got bruised eye sockets from watching her with his binoculars....and begged me for many weeks to get High Heels....too funny....
( alas I am not coordinated enough..hehe)
