Wish List

I want this machine. I really, really want this machine. I've begun another blog which will be devoted to my artwork; so far, no images on it, just my CV and statement. I have slides of all my work, and this device handily converts those slides to .jpeg right onto my computer.

So everything will get converted (as soon as I buy the thingie), I will list all my work post by post by post, with dimensions, materials, title, whatever needed - what's sold, what's available. But to do this, I need that machine. And I am NOT a patient woman.

Cool! What a great thing - your art I mean.

And the machine too.

i can't wait either :) keep us looped.

Wow! How cool will that be! The machine looks pretty as well - I know that's a ridiculous point but there's something about form and function.

I look forward to your new blog.

I saw the maple in that link. Do you really think we should trust the Canadians?

Now get those damn things electroconverted so we can see some art, dammit. You're not the only one sans patience, dammit.

I'll kick in $20 so you can expedite the shipping. Would you convert the rest of my Cuba slides for me?

Oh wow, Diva! This will be great! I can't wait to see your artwork! I'm still trying to figure out these Internet tubes, so I can't even begin to understand computer lingo. It's that freakin' lousy Chicago school educational system, it's their fault! Or maybe it's too many hits on the bong, not sure.

FranIAm, it's the whole job-change thingy. I'm feeling energy I haven't felt in years. It's like my art has been in prison, and now it's being released.

Betmo, here we go loop-di-loop...

Dianne, I agree - there is meaning in form and function. And my avatar is a detail of one of my paintings.

Randal, I didn't think about the Canadian thingy. They're so POLITE, I wonder if they can be trusted.

Border, you shot slides in Cuba? I'd love to see them.

Mary Ellen, I think it's the school system. I had as many hits on the bong and I'm nearly sixty, so I am sure it's the school system.

Holy crap that's a cool machine. I have tons of old slides and negatives just sitting around.

Thanks for the link.

It's not edible...... otherwise I would put it in the campaign refreshment budget.

Who's in charge of buying campaign thingees?

DivaJood said...

DW, you are welcome. Do I make the Dean's List now?

Okjimm, you're right! Wowzer, it's NOT edible. I need cake. The Secretary of Strawberries and Cream doesn't buy anything.

Spend those falling dollars as fast as you can Diva. Live like there's no tomorrow. A woman knows what she needs, and she damn well must have it.

DivaJood said...

Utah, I must have it! I must!

Diva, I can't wait to see the art. Impressive CV. However, the coolest machine I ever saw -- and a must have if I may add - is a beer dispensing machine I saw (and used) at the United Airlines Business Class Lounge at Narita (Japan) Airport. It pours the beer and caps it off with a nice think, foamy head.

Spartacus, I haven't shown in a lot of years. But perhaps getting the art uploaded will help me. The beer machine sounds hilarious. When I went through Narita, I was in economy and had the strongest espresso I've ever encountered.
