My Indians are in the toilet...I need to adopt a back up team ? any ideas...
Enigma, you could always give the Cubs a try. They'll break your heart come September, though.
Beefcake from DivaJood. Ususally I go to Phoebe Fay for that. Thanks Diva
always happy to oblige, Utah.
Diva I guess you weren't kidding you are a die hard Cubbies fan, Good luck!
I will give the Cubs a lookie...I get Chicago TV stations here too ;-0( I have a new question posted over at my place...about the beatles...for you and DK....or anyone for that matter...)
Diva, if I'd been paying attention, I would have told you earlier about the photo I posted on my blog recently:From this page. Here's the link to the photo:
Patriot, I never kid about the Cubs. Other than the standard Opening Day joke: if they lose the opener, there's no beer served all season...Enigma, the Cubs are a committment, trust me.aka John, omygod, what a great photo!
Wouldn't be a bad idea, would it?
TUA, I also love Ted Lilly. I used to love Kerry Wood, but he's blown yet another save opportunity, so the Cubs lost yesterday and are now tied with (ugh) St. Louis. THIS is why it is a committment to be a Cubs fan. They toy with us.
Diva, thanks for dropping by my place. I've returned the favor and added you to the roll.
We in Cleveland have plenty of heartbreak to choose from. I'll pass on the Cubs. But could you tell them to get Cedeno to play more? Shortstop on my fantasy team is quite the black hole nowadays.
Just came back for more beefcake. Phoebe let me down today.
Robert, nice to finally "meet". Been seeing your comments around and about.Randal, I cannot tell the Cubs to do diddly squat with Cedeno - if they listened to me, they would have won the World Series years ago.Utah, beefcake is in limited supply today. I know I am not up to Phoebe's standards.
Yes, Zambrano is one helluva pitcher..and so emotional! He wears his heart on his sleeve that one. My Padres are still languishing in last place...sigh. :(
Dusty, after teeing off on Pittsburgh in the start of the season, the Cubs just lost two in a row to them. Ted Lilly let me down. They are only .002 points ahead of St. Louis. And so I ask again, can Carlos Zambrano play every day?
No, he can't. This isn't the 1920's were pitchers actually did that Diva ;p
Dusty, dammit. And we start a series against the Dodgers today. Sigh.
Well, you have my permission to kick some Dodger ass woman. And then you might get to sweep those damn Pads...sigh.
