Damn - that hits it, doesn't it?

Deep.
Sigh.

But Jood - that Tax & Spend Liberal was foolin' around with an intern!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I mean really - doesn't that affect me more than losing my healthcare and my home?

Doesn't that negate the surplus?

I "borrowed" your clip from yesterday as the first entry in a little political funnies series I started. I was pretty sure you wouldn't mind.

I don't think you've thought this through. Don't you know how much service programs cost? And imagine if there was universal health care? That's probably like, oh, I don't know, $600 billion plus $700 billion.

We don't have that kind of money.

FIA, deep, deep sigh.

Dianne, exactly. Fooling around with an intern is an impeachable offense. Leading us into an elective, unwanted and expensive war by lying about WMDs is clearly not.

Randal, all we have to do is go into our basement and print more dollars. It's easy to make more money.

One day.. one day.. in my wildest dreams, the US will find better, more humane ways to use its money than continued world hegemony.

Somehow I think when that stops, the fiscal "crises" will stop.

You know, when I max out my credit cards on stuff I don't really need, it's the same principle.

The US has maxed out its credit cards on stuff it doesn't really need... like geopolitical dominion.

To believe Conservative doctrine is like living Opposite Day every day.

Rethuglicans apparently did not pass the "What's wrong with this picture?" course in kindergarten.

Dcap, I don't hate Republicans. In fact, in my next life, I want to be just like Nancy Raygun and wear size 0 Galianos.

Chani, you peacenik! What's wrong with global domination? I mean, drop a bomb here, drop a bomb there, bail out a bank or six, what's the problem?

D-Cup, yes, worse than permanent groundhog day. More like permanent Freaky Friday.

BE, did they even GO to kindergarten? I thought that the neo-cons were all born old.

that pretty much sums it up.....

I have not been at your site for a while, but then I've recently started back to blog. Your cartoon explains it all....every Republican President left a deficit and only Clinton had a surplus.

If this country is foolish enough to vote for McCain/Palin we will get just what we asked for.

I think most people were surprised to hear the country has $700 billion.. but then again, we don't. We'll just ask the Chinese to spot us some more cash. Yeah, that'll work.

bastards..... and McCain is already spewing the same blather. I bet his handlers told him to back away from the finance mess so he can later blame it on others.

Just noticed the expression on the dollah bill graphic below. We are there!

Ghost, we are so screwed.

Let's Talk, great to see you! Welcome back to blogging.

Susan, no, all we have to do is print some in our basement.

Fran, we really are there!

My friend sent me that cartoon in an email and I thought it was really funny as well as accurate. I don't like the fact that we have so many republican presidents there and only one democrat. Of course the last president seized power via the supreme court and is not legitimate in my eyes.

Lib, the illegitimate Emperor Bush has done what he did with every company he ran: he's run the USA into the ground. If McCain/Palin steals this election, we'll wind up in the great hole.
