I know what you look like, and you are cuter than your self-portrait! As a portrait artist myself, I am always fascinated by how artists see themselves...

Thanks Alicia. I'm not sure what I'm after is really about appearance. It's more an inner dialogue for me. Been feeling restless, irritable and discontented for the last little while.

I love this post of self-portraits! A lot happens in that exercice of one trying to draw one self, a lot. And it has, indeed, very little to do with making something that looks alike, strangely enough. Oh, you make me want to find time to draw and paint!!! I crave that so much. Thanks again for sharing the drawings and the photo.

Hi Suzanne -- thanks. You can participate in the marathon over at Crack Skull Bob's -- good to see you have internet again!

I've been noticing a few self-portraits popping on blogs lately. It's an interesting idea. I like what you have done. I sense the restlessness and discontent in your work. Well done.

Thanks Robin Andrea. Not sure if it's political or personal. Blogging has opened up a big ol' can a worms.

DivaJood, great work. Love your curls.

Interesting, indeed. And I can sense restlessness.

Thanks Helen. It amazes me that when my life is really good, I get so restless.
