The suit is against Cheney, Rove, and Lewis Libby. Plame and Wilson contend that they leaked information about Plame as retaliation for her criticism of Bush regarding intelligence reports about Iraq's pursuit of WMDs. Cheney is claiming immunity, but legal analysts said the suit could open new avenues for extracting information from the administration, because Plame and Wilson could conduct discovery if the U.S. District Court in Washington lets the suit proceed.
I'm rooting for Plame and Wilson.

When I heard this on the news today...I jumped out of my chair and cheered...it is about time!!!
Sumo, it just warmed my heart. I hope Plame and Wilson get oodles of Cheney's Haliburton money. Even if it doesn't go to trial, their courage to call these monsters on their actions is wonderful.
brave people. i wish more had the integrity and fortitude to start doing just this. now- if we can just start clogging the courts with suits against domestic spying.
betmo, they are quite brave. Cheney, Rove and Libby are dispicable people. Maybe Wilson and Plame will make people wake up.
I bet the Wilsons are willing to spend every cent they ever had to see some form of justice against this dispicable cast of characters. Just forcing these three to lawyer-up will cause untold amounts of stress which they all deserve after trying to ruin the lives of two people who simply love their country. Go Wilsons!

Just standing up and making the accusation, whether it gets to trial or not, is huge. And yes, it might be the best thing since sliced bread.
