WTF is wrong with blogger?

Trying to respond to people's comments and it won't let me. Is anyone else having blogger issues right now? I'm not ignoring people, but this device is making me insane!

I'm not having any problems right now. Sometimes, though, when I do have those kinds of issues, I restart my computer. Good luck with it.

Hi, divajood!
I'm not having a problem today, but was a few days ago...it might dpend what server your particulr blog is on...or if you are trying to respond to blogs which are on a server(S) that are acting up, could explain the problem....it seems to be an on again, off again problem here.

I understand. Same here. The comments screen comes up and sometimes it takes forever to load. Other times it never loads at all until I try it several times. I have had good and bad luck with blogger this whole week, mostly bad. Glad to know it's not something with my computer if you're having the same problems.

I find it's usually hopeless trying to comment in the evenings (here in NZ). It's not just blogger; everything seems to fall over. I can usually work around it by reloading the page several times, but I don't do this with blogger comments because it can post the comment several times! For better or worse, I usually just abandon the attempt and try again in the morning.

BTW, I really appreciated your previous post on photography. Too many ideas there for me to comment on, but I would recommend Geoff Dyer's recent book, The Ongoing Moment. It'll drive some people nuts, but I loved it.

Just practise as much as possible with the new camera, DJ. Don't take it too seriously; it's just a tool. The more you use it, the less intrusive it'll become and the more your point of view will emerge. And that's what's most important, by far.

(Now, I must try to follow my own advice... ;^P)

Glenda, it's persnickity. I wish I could figure out why I can't log in on The Peace Train on any except my home PC though.

POP, yes, it is blogger. It has been weird all week.

Pete, I always thought it was because you Kiwis walk around upside down! Now you tell me it's blogger. I will look for The Ongoing Moment, thanks for the tip. As long as it isn't a technical treatise!

apparently blogger stinks. dusty was having the same problem. i haven't been around much so it hasn't been a problem for me. big government tinkering with the tubes of internets.

That's the problem! Ted stevens stuffed something into one of the tubes. Probably his ugly, mean, nasty, fussy, little head.

Also for some reason many of the downloads at a site load very slow. That better not be the fault of my almost new computer.

Betmo and Patricia, my work computer is so slow I grow old just waiting. It's because of all the spyware we have here. I'm not supposed to be doing anything other than work on this computer, but when we're slow, we're slow. So I blog.

Blogger has been "losing" some of my posts.

Are they owned by the GOP?

DivaJood said...

Yoga, they could be. I think it had a case of blog flu.

I don't know what is up with Blogger... it has been crazy recently... anyone think it has to do with the BushCo spies?

DivaJood said...

Tina, Yoga thinks so, and since he owns property in Hell, I think he might be on to something.

I've been having blogger problems for the last week! Thank goodness it isn't my computer!

Sumo, it's the neoconservative blogger, not your computer.
