Technical problems - my computer is a mess

I have emails I can't respond to because everything is frozen (Sumo and Yoga, I am not ignoring you, my email program is nonfunctional). Some things are working, some things seem to be dead as dead. I'm considering a MAC. They don't crash, right? I think I can manage to get through this, but emails, notsomuch.

I don't know anything about macs. Patience will see us through!

Once you go Mac, you never go back! DJ, I am a longtime Mac user and I love them. One has to use a PC for work with certain proprietary systems, such as travel booking, I suppose, but for everything else - Mac is the most dependable.

I'm on my laptop right now, which has all my work stuff. But I used to have a MAC, and I loved it. And the IMACs are sweet. Alicia, you're right. The last 8 years of PC have driven me round the twist.

Sorry for your troubles...I've heard good things about MAC too. Good luck.

I'm currently using my laptop. It's faster than my pc was anyway, but I only have webmail. Whatever, it works. Thanks!

My next is going to be the MAC that has an intel chip. My only reservations for getting a Mac was that I have so much PC software. Now, that's not a problem! I can't wait 'til I can afford one. I need it BAD. I have Maya now and that's one hell of a BIG ASS program.

My PC was a mess last week and I bought Spyware Doctor and got it all cleaned up. I have to run Norton AND Spyware Doctor. What fresh hell. I can't wait to go MAC!!!

Helen, we have spydoctor on our computers at work -- everything moves so slowly it's like we have dialup.
